Imagine opening a restaurant just as Melbourne went into its first (of many) lockdowns in 2020. That is exactly what happened to Nico's! Devastating to say the least but luckily for their customers a pop-up opened later that year in Fitzroy which proved the concept and has continued to be insanely popular! 

The Melbourne deli is still there, tucked away in Melbourne's Court district. It's the perfect spot to grab a delicious sandwich on your lunch break, or on your way to Flagstaff Gardens for a midweek picnic (closed weekends). 

You can also find Nico's in Brunswick East and Fitzroy. These locations are open seven days. 

Our two fave sandwiches are the Cubano (mmmm house smoked pork belly) and the Chicken Schnitzel! Delicious! Have you tried Nico's merch? Although not as delicious as the sandwiches, we love it all the same.
